CISRS System Scaffolding Product Training Program

This two-day system scaffolding product training program was launched together with the CISRS system scaffolding program to recognize the significant differences between the various proprietary system scaffolding products covered by CISRS.

Participants who successfully complete the scaffolding training and evaluation can apply to add the name of the specific system scaffolding product they have received on their CISRS record card.

If the operator wants to use the second type or brand of system products similar to CISRS approved system products, such as Cuplok and Genlok, the employer will need to ensure that all relevant product information is passed to the operator, and that the operator knows any product capabilities, installation procedures, Differences in connection methods, etc.

The purpose of this scaffolding training program is to provide the scaffolding with skills and knowledge for safe use in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Only CISRS record card holders who have completed at least Part 1 of the training (pipes and fittings or systems) are eligible to participate in this 2-day training course. If an operator has only completed part 1 of the training, they will still be classified as an intern.

They can use the specific system they have been trained for, but only under the direct supervision of a CISRS-qualified scaffolding staff who also holds the system's approval.
